Anti-gaylawsalsoreinforceacultureofintoleranceinmanycountries.InMayreligiousconservativesrejoicedwhenKenya’sHighCourtupheldalawthatcriminalisesgaysex.Judgesfoundthatitdidnotviolateaconstitutionalguaranteeoffreedomfromdiscrimination,thoughitplainlydiscriminatesagainstgaypeople.(Kenya’sconstitutionalsopromiseseveryone“adequatehousing”(充足的房源供给),soperhapstheframersdidnotexpectittobetakenliterally.)
